Disk Plus
The images on the site imply it can work with iPhone, it cannot. Maybe with a 2230 ssd it does, but with the 2280s it doesn’t. It needs around 8w of power to work and iphone port seems limited to 5w. The 10gbps cable also doesn’t sit flush into the ports on it; it pokes out slightly and any movement causes the ssd to disconnect and reconnect. I was going to recommend this company and its products to friends and family, but I feel embarrassed to have purchased from here.
Even this review system is screwed up because the leftmost option is five stars instead of one. Had I not been so diligent in my rage I would’ve sent it a glowing review with words that don’t match. Upon initial impressions the site and this company comes across as though it is tech friendly and understands it customers, but now everything just reads “you are being duped.”
