When DISK PRO is connected to my laptop and I plug a PD power supply into its top USB-C port, the drive occasionally disconnects and reconnects. Why is this happening?
This occurs because of a power-handshake switch. When you plug in or remove an external power source from the DISK PRO, the device has to toggle between being powered by your laptop and being powered by the external source (which then provides power to both the DISK PRO and your laptop).
This switch triggers a momentary connection reset between the drive and your computer. While this reset does not affect the long-term performance or health of the product, we strongly advise against connecting or disconnecting external power during active data transfers to prevent potential data loss or corruption.
Why won't my third-party USB-C cable fit into the DISK PRO’s female port?
To maintain its ultra-compact form factor and accommodate the integrated cable storage, the DISK PRO’s USB-C port housing is precision-engineered with tight tolerances. Some third-party cables have oversized connector heads that may not fit.
For the best experience, we recommend using USB-C cables with slim connector housings. We specifically recommend the following SHARGE accessories for a guaranteed fit:

Will DISK PRO be compatible with future devices? What should I do if I encounter compatibility issues?
DISK PRO supports upgrade functionality. Please download the product upgrade package from https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1tE7tLUYqYgs0AQ918h-K66QBenLQ5y_M and follow the instructions in the upgrade package to upgrade the product's built-in firmware. We will periodically update the product upgrade firmware.
